Virtual Voyages: Bringing History & Geography to Life

My name is Kimberly Adcock, and I am a social studies teacher at Putnam County Middle School, where I currently teach 7th grade. Thanks to the Putnam Education Foundation, I will be introducing VR headsets and age-appropriate software to my students. My goal is to provide students with the opportunity to travel the world virtually.
I am excited to see my students engage with content in a whole new way. I believe that exploring destinations such as historical landmarks, ancient civilizations, and world capitals will allow students to experience history, culture, and geography in a meaningful, engaging, and memorable way.
