Hi! My name is Tamera Hill, and I’m a 1st grade teacher at Putnam County Primary School in Putnam County, Georgia.
I’m so excited to share the project that the Putnam Education Foundation is helping fund! This project focuses on integrating art into our everyday learning—allowing my students to explore reading, writing, math, and science through creativity and hands-on artistic activities.
I’m especially excited because art gives my students a chance to express themselves, build confidence, and stay engaged while learning important academic skills.
My hope is that this project will help my students develop a deeper love for learning, strengthen their creativity, and give them new ways to understand and connect with what we’re learning in the classroom.
