Where Them Parents At?

Hello, my name is Mary Alice Smith, and I am a Power Professional at the Putnam Primary School. I have the pleasure of supporting our students and teachers each day, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
My project, Where Them Parents At, is designed to bring parents directly into the classroom so they can see firsthand what their children are learning. This initiative will give families the opportunity to observe lessons, interact with teachers, and actively engage in their child’s educational experience.
I am especially excited about this project because it helps strengthen the connection between home and school. When parents are involved, students feel more supported, confident, and motivated to succeed. This experience will not only build stronger relationships but also encourage a shared commitment to student learning.
My hope is that this project will inspire greater parent involvement and create lasting partnerships that support our children both inside and outside the classroom.
