Dave A. Ringer, MD, CPE, FAAFP, is a board-certified physician with a medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and an undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. He owned Family Medical Associates of Lake Oconee for 22 years before joining his practice with what is now Oconee Valley Healthcare. Dr. Ringer now serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Oconee Valley Healthcare, Chief of Staff at St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital, Medical Director for several local nursing homes, and an Assistant Professor of Community Medicine at the Mercer School of Medicine in Macon and the Augusta University-University of Georgia Medical Partnership in Athens. Dr. Ringer and his wife Kayleen have six children and eight grandchildren. He is active in his community as well, serving as the team doctor for Gatewood Schools and a member of Lake Oconee Lutheran Church.
