My name is Brandi Huskins, and I teach 3rd grade ELA at Putnam County Elementary School. I am grateful to the Putnam Education Program for funding “Young Authors in Action.” This grant supports a writing program that helps students build skills while developing a love for writing. Through engaging lessons, students will create, revise, and publish their own stories, building confidence and creativity. I am most excited to help students discover their voices and see themselves as authors. This project encourages creativity, confidence, and pride, inspiring a lifelong love of writing.
